Former Call of Duty developers and professional gamers participated in the creation of XDefiant. As a result, this fast-paced FPS is very similar to CoD in many ways.

Each character (called a “Defiant”) will have access to the standard assortment of lethal and tactical equipment, and can choose his or her own primary and secondary weapons, as well as accessories to complete his or her arsenal. You can even modify it on the fly once you've reappeared.
However, unique abilities also accumulate over time. From self-healing to powerful shields, the different classes (called “Factions” in XDefiant) have access to their own tools.
