POC, OTONITY - XDefiant, Ubisoft's upcoming free-to-play FPS, has just received its latest patch, Y1S0.4. This patch brings some important changes to gameplay, including a reduction in the XP required to level up weapons and netcode fixes.
After numerous test sessions, XDefiant is finally approaching its official release. Here's everything you need to know about Ubisoft's new FPS.
Ubisoft has been working on its new FPS for a few years now, and the game's concept of linking different worlds in an arena shooter is a rather intriguing prospect. Indeed, in XDefiant, players will be able to choose between different factions from the studio's other titles such as Far Cry, Splinter Cell and The Division.
After being revealed in 2021, Ubisoft had been rather discreet, until last night, when they announced the launch of the FPS closed beta, allowing players to get their hands dirty before the release of this free-to-play game.
