Initially, the FPS was scheduled for release between September and October 2023. However, a number of development problems have delayed its release. XDefiant will be available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will run at 120 Hz on PS5 and Xbox Series X, according to Mark Rubin.
Former Call of Duty developers and professional gamers participated in the creation of XDefiant. As a result, this fast-paced FPS is very similar to CoD in many ways.

Each character (called a “Defiant”) will have access to the standard assortment of lethal and tactical equipment, and can choose his or her own primary and secondary weapons, as well as accessories to complete his or her arsenal. You can even modify it on the fly once you've reappeared.
However, unique abilities also accumulate over time. From self-healing to powerful shields, the different classes (called “Factions” in XDefiant) have access to their own tools.
