Poconity.com - Prior to the strike by these two actors and writers, the fifth season of Stranger Things was expected in early 2025, according to its star, Finn Wolfhard. In a GQ video, the actor said he'll be 22 when the fifth season finally arrives on Netflix.
This date corresponds to what the Duffer brothers said in 2022, namely that the period between the fourth and fifth seasons would be much shorter than that between the third and fourth seasons, as they weren't expecting a six-month hiatus like the one caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

There's no further information on when the series will air at the moment, but the team still has a long filming process to go through. In an interview with THR in March 2024,
Wolfhard indicated that production was only in its third month, with nine months still to go. So there's no chance of the show being available before 2025 - probably by the end of the year.
"It's really crazy," he says. "You wonder how to be as perfect as possible, but at the same time, you feel conflicted by the fact that this is the last one. So I'm trying to find a balance between being present and knowing that this will be the last season. But it's been great."
However, the image shared by Netflix to relaunch production (above) confirms that Sink will be involved in the final episode.

To what extent remains to be seen. She is pictured with all the above actors, as well as Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, Jamie Campbell Bower and Linda Hamilton, a new member of the team.
